Back in blog country

lets see how this goes. after a self imposed hiatus for several months, i shall try this again. :) so here i am and thought it would be fun to take a page out of staci and sarah's respective blogs. a while ago they each posted a "100 things about me" blog. looks like fun and a nice intro into blogging. here it is:

1. i am an only child

2. myself, and both my mom and dad were all born in california

3. i didn't like broccoli as a child but i do now

4. i do the crossword and read dear abby every day in the newspaper

5. travis proposed to me in a swimming pool

6. i'm never seen Grease, the movie, all the way through

7. i have lived in 4 states

8. i have lived on 2 continents

9. i have never been to canada

10. someone offered my dad a large amount of camels to trade for me while we touring morrocco when i was a little girl

11. i have riden a horse, elephant, donkey, and camel

12. i know all the words of the theme song to "little einsteins"

13. my favorite cake is the german chocolate cake that staci introduced me to

14. my cell phone ring is the "A-Team" theme song

15. i am six feet two inches tall

16. i don't play basketball

17. i didn't play ANY sports in high school

18. growing up i played softball, soccer, took swim lessons and was on a summer
bowling league

19. travis is a much better bowler than i am

20. i never ever thought i would marry anyone shorter than me, (not that i was against it, i just thought what man would WANT to marry someone taller?)

21. i wear contact lenses

22. i was blonde for most of high school

23. i scored a perfect score in the reading comprehension section on the ACT's (a 36) but a lowly 19 on the math section, which sums up how polarized my academics are. i am not a well rounded student

24. i had mono and bronchitis and left BYU at thanksgiving first semester, second year

25. i regret not being a college graduate

26. i never declared a major and still don't know what i would get my degree in

27. when i was little, i would tell people i was adopted because i thought since my name was "annie", i must have an orphan too

28. i always wanted a brother or a sister

29. i lived in an apartment on a military base for 10 years when we lived in germany.

30. i always wanted to live in a house like you saw on tv, 2 stories with a white picket fence

31. my favorite store to go to when we visited my grandma smith in salt lake was 5,7,9

32. i have seen counting crows live in concert and have adam duritz's autograph

33. i gambled in las vegas with travis the week before i was 21 and was super hot at the craps table

34. while living in las vegas, i was a hostess at the rainforest cafe inside the MGM on the strip

35. i only had that job a month before getting one at optometrist's office

36. i miss working because i could feed my high end sunglass addiction

37. i had a pet hamster named critter

38. i don't like grape jelly

39. i took piano lessons for about 5 years while growing up yet if anyone asks me if play the piano, i say no

40. one of my all time favorite tv shows was alias.

41. michael vartan is one sexy man

42. i exclusively use crest toothpaste

43. i didn't pluck my eyebrows till i was in college and my roommate showed me how

44. i was president of deseret towers (on campus housing) my freshman year at BYU

45. i love ordering drinks, appetizers and desserts at resteraunts, all the "extras"

46. i won a kids picnic table in a drawing lowes' had when they had their grand opening here

47. i can count to 10 in english (duh), Spanish, German, and Japanese, i can count to 5 in french

48. i had braces in high school

49. i was student body secretary/treasurer my senior year

50. i'm a big seinfeld fan, have the series on dvd, watch the reruns and have seen jerry live in vegas

51. have seen the band fuel live at the house of blues in vegas

52. have seen kevin james (king of queens and chuck and larry fame) twice live in vegas

53. i have never had a speeding ticket or any kind of ticket

54. i love doing little girl's hair, particularly my own little girl

55. i never thought i would have twins or secretly wish for them or to be a twin.

56. i can't imagine having only one child

57. i won't let my kids ride in the car shopping carts at the grocery store

58. i was the only grandchild on my dad's side and #18 on my mom's side

59. i am third generation from ireland on my dad's side, his grandparents were born there and their last name is kennedy

60. i like the name ivy for a little girl but travis will never go for it

61. i will not name my next child a name that starts with the letter M

62. i never thought i would drive a mini-van and like it

63. i love to bake

64. i have never broken a bone, pulled a muscle, sprained an ankle, or seriously injured myself

65. i won the american legion annual constitution speech contest 3 years in a row in high school, prize was $100 every year

66. i used to drink pepsi and now i haven't had a caffeinated beverage in over 10 years

67. i loved "beverly hills 90210" and luke perry was my favorite

68. recently (as in, sometime in the past year) discovered cafe rio's chips and queso and now wonder how i ever lived without them

69. don't like to carry cash, i spend it too fast, i'm a debit card girl all the way

70. had my gall bladder removed on my honeymoon

71. still remember the words to the theme song/rap to "fresh prince of bel-air"

72. love the beatles, grew up listening to the oldies radio stations with my dad

73. love the tv show "lost"

74. i usually have my toenails painted but rarely my fingernails

75. i don't like my hair too short, feel it makes my less feminine which i am self conscious about anyway because i am so tall

76. have been to a NFL game and 2 NBA preseason games

77. have never been on a cruise

78. have been fishing and even caught a fish (island park, idaho)

79. wore blue suede shoes with my graduation cap and gown in high school

80. the only doritos i like are cool ranch

81. i know how to drive a stick shift, haven't done it in years and totally suck at it

82. i have a phobia of sharks and as a child had to be out of the bathtub before i pulled the drain (something about them being able to come up the drain . . . i was 7)

83. never been skinny dipping

84. can quote austin powers, princess bride, harry potter and rush hour movies quite well

85. have been up the eiffle tower

86. have had a passport since i was 3

87. i can't sew and the sewing machine i own is still unopened from christmas 3 years ago

88. don't like cherries or cherry flavored things, ie juice, candy, kool-aid, pie

89. i am an awful liquid medicine taker. if its not in pill form, it gets ugly . . .

90. my favorite cold stone creation is sweet cream with a brownie and lots of caramel

91. i worked at zuka juice while i went to BYU sophomore year

92. my first "date" with travis was wendys and watching the movie "rush hour" back at his apartment with his older, divorced brother, and 3 of our other friends. romantic, huh?

93. our wedding pictures were taken before we were actually married

94. travis and i have the same birthday, he is exactly 4 years older than i am

95. my favorite pizza topping is mushrooms

96. i am not a big reality tv fan, the exception being the apprentice

97. when i was in middle school, i wrote a letter to ann m. martin (author of "the baby-sitters club" series) and she wrote me actual letter back

98. i drink hot chocolate year round, not just when it is cold, much to travis' disgust

99. i only eat/buy for myself yopliat yogurt (my kids can eat generic brand gogurts)
